Rocky Ridge Villa’s Annual Outdoor Social

 

The 2016 Social is coming on Saturday August 20th.

 

Carol and Allan (113 Rocky Ridge Villas) have offered to host this event on the front drive and yard at their home.

 

But to make it a success we would like assistance with the following:

 

           Planning

           Cooking

           Set-up

           Take down

 

If you would be interested in helping, please contact Carol or Allan at (403) 288-6960 to arrange a time when all the volunteers can meet and finalize responsibilities.

 

Deck Extensions

 

We have started the task of rebuilding decks as they need attention. The Reserve Fund has the money available for this task. However, the money covers only the size of the “standard” deck size. Many owners have increased the size of their decks, either at initial construction or at a later time and paid extra for this. We have surveyed all the decks and established which units have increased their decks and by how much. Where the deck has not increased, the Reserve fund will pay for the cost. Where the deck size has increase by X%, the owner will have to pay X% of the repair cost. Please contact Deet Adam if you have any questions or concerns or if you would like to know now what your % increase is.

 

Roof Replacement

 

In early July, we had a roofing consultant (Residential Roofing Consultant) inspect every roof. It is their recommendation that a replacement program be started no later than the summer of 2017. Planning has now started on this project. The initial thinking is to spread this out over 3 years.
