THE ROCKY RIDGE VILLAS ANNUAL SOCIAL

Our 2015 annual social held on Saturday, August 29th at 113 Rocky Ridge Villas.

Forty-two residents attended this year’s social. While the weather for the event was warm and mild earlier in the afternoon, strong winds changed the ‘atmosphere’ towards the end. The social was a great opportunity to meet new residents and to visit with others.

As hosts for this year’s event, Carol and I would like to sincerely thank all the residents who brought food, offered tables, and helped with the set-up and clean-up. Two tables were even provided by residents who weren’t in town to enjoy the social. In addition, a donated coffee machine provided many varieties of coffee for all to enjoy. Thanks to all your help, hosting the social was a pleasure for us.

Recycle

The contract has now been signed with Calgary Urban Recycling. The program will commence November 1, 2015. We are putting together an information package for everyone outlining the details of the program ie. day of the week, items acceptable for recycling, etc. this will be sent out in October.
