Contractor’s List
Attached to this
e-mail is the new “Contractors List” we have compiled. We have had input from
ACMS, contractors your condo board has used, owner’s. We thank everyone for
helping us make this list possible. In addition, we have access to a
comprehensive list that ACMS has developed over the years. It is a huge 26 page
document. If you do not find what you are looking for, please contact Deet
Adam.
Community Affairs
Since the last issue
of Villa Views we have received interest in establishing a local walking group
as well as a pair of residents eager to play bridge. The walking group is now
active on Monday afternoons. Look for information about it on the bulletin
board at the Villas mailboxes. Feel free to join us for any (or indeed all) of
our outings. We’d be happy to see you.
We’d need more
participants to play bridge, however, so if you’d like to play some cards with
other residents of the Villas please send me an email.
And, finally, if
there are other activities you’d like to have us try to establish in the Villas
just let us know through the same email.

Annual General Meeting
The next Annual
General Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the
Ranch Centre starting at 7 PM.
Recycling
The City of Calgary
has reminded us that we need to set up a recycling program at the Villas by February
2016 latest. We will shortly begin the task of assessing all the options we
have including the cost involved. Please feel free to let us know of options
you prefer/not want. We will present our findings to all the owners,
ask for feedback, before making the final decision.
Block Watch
We had a medical
alert recently and the authorities came to Jim Lees’s door looking for contact information.
Unfortunately, we did not have this information. On reviewing our list we
noticed a lot of units have not provided us with contact information in case of
an emergency. This is particularly
important for those living alone.
Please provide Jim Lees with your updated contact
information
